We have three kittens ready for loving homes. All are available for immediate placement to the right family.

seal bicolor ragdollFemale. Seal bicolor with symmetrical white stripe on each side of her nose. Mother: Siobhan. Father: Omarion.

She is sweet and very adventurous. Typical female Ragdoll. She is the one to entertain her siblings and seems to be Queen Bee among the litter. her bicolor patterns is gorgeous and the additional pattern along her nose really sets off the contrast in her face.

female blue lynx

Female. Blue lynx with mitted paws. Mother: Siobhan. Father: Omarion.

She is a bit more laid back than her sister, just a bit. She gets along well with our young son so if you have small children she will be tolerant of their abrupt behavior. Our son likes her best because she is easy to catch and tolerates his snuggles.

male seal point

Male. Seal point with mitted paws. Mother: Siobhan. Father: Omarion.

He is our talker. He communicates with his human pets and his siblings especially when he wants something. He has a gorgeous personality and like most male cats he will be the most affectionate of his siblings by virtue of being male.

We will be retaking photos and posting those updates soon. Our kitty babies were in the mood to play when we took these and would not cooperate for a second. As we have families waiting, we wanted to post something so you will have a general idea of their color/pattern. If you have questions or want to review our contract, please contact us directly for a speedy reply. ragdollhugs@yahoo.com

cheeseCheese has a sister ~ Again!

We try to place our kitty babies with loving families that will cherish them as much as we do by interviewing the potential family and requiring a contract that forbids unacceptable situations such as having our CM Ragdolls placed in a rescue shelter at any time in their lives. In such case we agree to assist families with placement to a new family.

Recently we had a bit of a scare 4 weeks after placement! A kitten born to Ollie February 12, 2007 was placed with a family that seemed just perfect and eager to dote on our little girl baby. A month after placement the father of this family called to say they were experiencing a family crisis and couldn’t keep their little darling. He needed our help with placement.

A few days before this call we placed a biological litter mate with a family that really wanted a pair but couldn’t afford the second adoption fee which is often the case. Everyone wants two. Some want three or four because,..well,..Ragdolls are just awesome like that. This family was happy to learn of this situation as it meant they could indeed raise their boy baby with a litter mate. A girl. The perfect pair!

The circumstances of the first family is unfortunate and our hearts go out to them. We are grateful that they had the heart and mind to allow us to help them with placing this darling little girl. There is a bit of irony in that Cheese and Monica have very similar, laid back, personalities. They cuddled each other, napped together, played together and travelled the house together. Two peas in a pod.

Here’s a shout out to Cheese and Monica who will grow up in their new family together. What a happy ending.

buster and cheeseBorn February 12th to Olivia and Siobhan.

It was crazy. Simply crazy. Two cats delivering at same time ~ both wanting Mims by their side rubbing their tummies and singing to them. When the bitty kitties started walking and escaped their whelping box they would wander into the ‘other’ mother’s den. Some of Siobhan’s kittens prefered Ollie while some of Ollie’s kittens prefered Siobhan. It was a free for all!

Siobhan delivered 4 healthy meepers. Ollie delivered 6, poor thing. I hand fed Ollies kittens once per day to help her out and everyone, including mom, did well.

We have four kittens left to place with loving families.

Sweetpea

Mother: Olivia Dahling

Father: Omarion

Born: February 12, 2007

Gender: Female

Color/Pattern: Blue point with mits and white blaze

Personality: The queen of both litters. Totally in charge. Demands attention from her family. Always wrestles for the best spot in the bed at night which amounts to Mims’ head. The most affectionate female Ragdoll. Email us for more pictures of this kitten.

buster

Mother: Olivia Dahling

Father: Omarion

Born: February 12, 2007

Gender: Male

Color/Pattern: Blue Lynx with mits

Personality: The king of the castle. He and the female above are very bonded. Since mother had a large litter of 6 I isolated these two and hand fed them from age 4 weeks, weaning them myself. During this time they had me all to themselves and developed strong affection for people, including toddlers (my son is 3). He demands hands on attention and is often found sharing my pillow with his close littermate. Even when I’m sleeping. Email us for more pictures of this kitten.

dita

Mother: Siobhan

Father: Omarion

Born: February 12, 2007

Gender: Female

Color/Pattern: Seal bicolor with mits

Personality: Cuter than words can say. She looks like a little raccoon the way her face pattern has developed. Prefers to bond with one special person and she adores them. A bit timid with small children but seeks out affection of adults. Her favorite spot to nap is on my chest. Independent and very playful. Email us for more pictures of this kitten.

CM Kitten GeorgeWe are a small TICA registered Ragdoll cattery, a pedigreed breed of feline, in Kentuckiana.

All of our kitty babies are raised in home and underfoot. Mothers and father are an intimate part of our family sharing our beds at night and our laps during the day.

We wish everyone could experience the joy our Ragdolls bring us. They are truly a unique breed of cat ~ very loving ~ affectionate ~ intelligent ~ they like to be with people.

About Ragdolls:

  • They are a large breed. ChateauMoon Ragdolls average 16-18 lbs by two years of age.
  • Ragdolls have long soft fur, often compared to that of bunny rabbits.
  • Grooming is not necessary due to an oily hormone emmited in their fur which gives them the soft rabbit like feel and keeps their fur from matting.
  • The hormone emmited in their fur prevents heavy shedding.
  • They travel well and can be taken outdoors on a leash.
  • This breed trains easily.
  • They are very content to relax and be held.
  • Ragdolls get along well with children and other pets.
  • This breed typically does not meow. The don’t talk often but when they do they project a soft series of chirps. However, they will talk to you!
